Something Borrowed is out so it’s time to time-travel back to the days of old hit songs of the ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s, and ‘90s. Just me playing an acoustic guitar, singing, and me, me, and me on background vocals.
I first recorded these songs and put them out on Facebook during the pandemic because I was witnessing so much fear, anger, pain, loss. Wanted to provide some comfort from afar, maybe even lift people’s spirits a bit. Lifted mine getting to play and share the songs.
They’re essentially “live recordings” with harmonies added the same day. And wonderfully blended with the magic touch of talented writer, musician, producer, and mixing engineer, Jeffrey Carruthers of Digital Zoo Music (who brilliantly mixed the Magic Kiss & Find Me in Your Heart albums.)
