Just when you thought it was safe to go outside, my next album, Find Me in Your Heart album, is getting set to release!
The Magic Kiss album was in many ways easier to write. Raw emotion flowing through me into music and lyrics. Inspiration, followed by a dedication to crafting songs that could almost hint at the depth of love I experienced. It’s an album of the heart.
This album is more of an album of the soul — eleven songs of awakening, gratitude, forgiveness, truth, and freedom. These songs were far more challenging to bring to life because the underlying teachings themselves are hard enough for anyone to put into words, but songs???
Fortunately, I had help on the inner planes. The song, “Find Me in Your Heart”, from which the album receives its name, arose in my consciousness as a direct message from The Divine to share with the world.
Four of the eleven songs were born out of tapping into the essence of the teachings of some of the great contemporary consciousness teachers. And one is a song I received in meditation from a friend’s mother who was leaving this Earthly plane. It’s a deeply tender song to him, but really, to all of us.
Mumbo and jumbo and woo woo aside (ooh, good lyric) — and however these songs came into being — I feel it’s my best music work to-date. I love the album and very much look forward to sharing it with you all.
